A perfect add-on to any gift bag to help kids advocate a greener lifestyle, because you are never too young to care about our planet!
We have red and natural bristle colours – please specify at check out if you have a preference.
The handles are made from Mao bamboo- the fastest growing woody plant on the planet. Its an Eco-friendly and naturally sustainable material which grows spontaneously without the need for pesticides, and has a fast regrowth cycle much faster than wood.
These bamboo toothbrush handles are heat-treated to carbonise them. This process gives them a lovely quality finish, but also makes our brushes water-resistant, which helps to prevent the growth of microbes (bacteria and mold).
They have an ergonomic shape this lets you grip it securely and retain control over your brushing technique. And don’t worry about the Pandas, they don’t eat this type of bamboo, so won’t go hungry if you use one of these brushes.
Suitable for Children:
These brushes have a small and lightweight handle, which is perfect for little hands. Each brush measure 14.5cm
All of the bristles used for our children’s brushes are extra soft and BPA free Nylon
Disposing of your toothbrush:
The handles on all of our toothbrushes can be composted, but the bristles need to be removed before composting, which is very easy to do. We shall make a video on this soon!
Each toothbrush comes in a recycled cardboard box which is fully recyclable. There is no single wrapper on the brushes, to save unnecessary waste.
I source these tooth brushes from Hannah who runs Greener Habits as she shares the same values as Plastic Free Party Bags. It’s nice to support a fellow vegan woman in business too.
Greener Habits vegan kids bamboo and BPA free extra soft bristle toothbrushes. “At Greener Habits we only stock products which are planet, animal and people friendly. This also means making sure the people who make our products are paid fairly and treated well. Our toothbrushes are ethically made in a family run business in China which employs 50 people. They are paid a very fair wage, 25 RMB per hour during the day, and 35 RMB per our during the night (I have been informed this is very fair in China), and work in a clean and safe environment”
