These thoughtful party bags are a simple, sweet and affordable gesture for larger groups of children. They will love to take home their unique Newspaper Bags which they can reuse and their very own seeds to grow and give them weeks of fun watching the seedlings sprout and perfect their spinning techniques.
Seeds – the packet is made from recycled paper and itself fully recyclable. We source our seeds from a UK supplier, and all the wildflower seeds are of native UK origin. We don’t buy them in from mainland Europe where the mixes are not entirely of British species. We only supply seeds that are of British wildflowers, and therefore suitable for our climate and insects.
Spinner – made from sustainable beech with our cheerful “Have a great day!” message, these are FSC certified.
Animal glasses – Made from thick paper, these super fun animal masks can be coloured in and enjoyed by the children and when the time comes can be recycled with your paper and card collection. Unlike masks or party hats, there are no elasticated bands or staples – just 100% recyclable paper. A mix of six animals will be spread across the bags: tiger, elephant, parrot, giraffe, lion and a very cheeky alligator!
Colouring-in activity sheets – these activity sheets with keep little hands and minds busy. Printed on recycled paper.
Party Bag – Our newspaper bags are made by an NGO whose main objective is to provide education and shelter to street children. This eco-friendly product is made from recycled Indian newspaper. The organisation was started in 2004 by street children who wanted to give something back in return for the opportunities which had allowed them to escape desperate circumstances. These elder children, now with children of their own, generate an income by making newspaper bags and jute items. This allows them to take care the children that they have saved from the streets surrounding New Delhi train station. Support for this wonderful project means that these children can enjoy going to school and playing, rather than pulling rickshaws, shoe polishing, rag picking and worse.
The newspapers are either in Indian language or English. They are made from recycled newspapers, this is why sometimes your bag will have a completed crossword!
Eco Hero Card – Bright and fun card to keep that comes with a wordsearch game and fun tips to help kids become eco heroes.
